Airport passenger arrival suspension extended till April 7. All passenger transit operations have been stopped for the moment. The flight suspension came into effect from March 17.

Ongoing police curfew in the Jaffna, Colombo, Gampaha & Kalutara districts will continue until further notice due to current situation.

Police curfew in the Mannar, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi districts to be temporarily lifted at 6.00 am tomorrow.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa pledged 5 million US Dollars in contribution to the SAARC COVID-19 Emergency Fund.

Curfew imposed in Colombo, Gampaha, Puttalam and the 5 districts of the Northern Province will be lifted at 6 am tomorrow (24). However, it will be re-imposed at 12 noon and will be in effect until 6 am on Friday (March 27).
